We will evaluate whether your symptoms are cardiac-related and whether medical therapy and/or interventional procedures are necessary.
A new patient visit can run anywhere from 30-45 minutes. Please arrive 30 minutes early for your first appointment to complete any additional paperwork that we may need and to allow time for the receptionist to get your complete record together prior to your examination. the same location.
• Your care and treatment will remain top-quality and
patient-centered.
Hospital Outpatient Department
What is a Hospital Outpatient Department (HOPD)?
An HOPD is a clinic that operates as part of a hospital. This allows patients to receive outpatient services while benefiting from the hospital’s advanced resources, technology, and coordinated care system.
Provider Stability
Will my care or providers change?
Nothing is changing with your care or providers; you will still see the same providers at the same location. The quality of your care will remain the same, but there will be improved access to hospital resources.
Insurance Billing
How will this affect my insurance billing?
- You may receive two separate bills—one for the practitioner’s services and another for the hospital facility fee.
- Depending on your insurance plan, you may have two co-pays or minor adjustments to your out-of pocket costs.
- Most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, recognize HOPDs and provide coverage.
Insurance Coverage
How can I find out if my insurance covers these changes?
We recommend calling your insurance provider to understand how this change may affect your coverage and costs.
Change Purpose
Why are these changes being made?
This change allows us to provide more seamless, coordinated care by integrating outpatient services with hospital-based resources. Benefits include:
- Easier access to specialized equipment & services
- Improved coordination between outpatient visits & hospital-based care
- Better continuity of care for complex medical needs
