Saint Mary’s CEO Derrick Glum Named National “CEO to Know” by Becker’s
Reno, Nevada (July 24, 2025) – Saint Mary’s Health Network, a member of Prime Healthcare, is proud to announce that Chief Executive Officer Derrick Glum has been named to the prestigious Community Hospital CEOs to Know list by Becker’s Hospital Review for the third consecutive year. This honor underscores Mr. Glum’s outstanding leadership and dedication to advancing healthcare across northern Nevada.
Since joining Saint Mary’s in September 2022, Mr. Glum has guided the health network through transformative growth. His leadership has driven the expansion of vital services – including radiation oncology, cardiac ablation, and emergency care, ensuring broader access to high-quality care for the region.
This continued recognition by Becker’s reflects not only Mr. Glum’s strategic vision but also his commitment to improving health outcomes across the community.

This achievement adds to a recent list of national recognitions for Saint Mary’s, including an “A” grade in patient safety from The Leapfrog Group and placement among the top 5% of U.S. hospitals for patient safety by Healthgrades. Saint Mary’s was also recognized by the Lown Institute for outstanding social responsibility, the only northern Nevada hospital to receive an “A” grade in the category on the 2025-26 Lown Institute Hospitals Index. The hospital achieved this honor through strong performance across metrics of health equity, patient outcomes, and value of care, out of more than 3,500 hospitals nationwide.
