Saint Mary’s Neurology offers an Electrodiagnostic Lab for the diagnosis of seizure disorders and neuromuscular abnormalities. Electrodiagnostic tests are neurological studies that extend our patient’s medical history and are an important aspect in diagnosing conditions related to nerve function. These tests will assist your neurology specialist in establishing a plan of treatment specific to your needs.

Tests Offered:

Electromyography and nerve conduction studies (EMG)
Electroencephalography (EEG)
Evoked potential

These tests typically take 30-45 minutes to complete. EEGs are conducted by a technician and interpreted by a physician. EMGs are performed and interpreted by a physician.
