The da Vinci Xi Surgical System
The da Vinci Xi Surgical System is available at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center. The Xi is the fourth and latest generation of the da Vinci system, a tool that utilizes advanced robotic, computer and optical technologies to assist the surgeon during operation.
The system is minimally invasive and has been optimized for surgeries in the areas of urology, gynecology, thoracic, cardiac, and general surgery. Saint Mary’s is the only hospital in the area to feature two da Vinci Xi Surgical robots.
